FLORIPARI
FLORIPARI - the Early Music Ensemble, formed in 1994 by graduates of Music Academy in Kraków. The repertoire of the ensemble includes vocal and instrumental works of Renaissance and Baroque music, particularly Polish. The young musicians play the period instruments. On many ocassions the musicians wear historical costumes which lends their concerts a unique character. All members of FLORIPARI have taken part in numerous early music interpretation courses and masterclasses, particulary in prestigious Dartington International Summer School (1993, 1994, 1995) where they collaborated with many distinguished artists including Paul Goodwin, Emma Kirkby and Anthony Rooley. In 1995 the members of ensemble were awarded the grant of The David Reichenberg Trust. FLORIPARI closely linked with Wawel Royal Castle in Kraków, is extremely active as participates in many concerts and festivals, pursues its own projects and co-operates with artists and other early music groups from Poland and abroad (Germany, Italy, England, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands).
