Jan Tomasz Adamus

Jan Tomasz Adamus was Joachim Grubich's student at the Cracow Music Academy and Hans van Nieuwkoop's student at the Sweelinck Conservatorium in Amsterdam. He is a laureate of the international organ competition in Arnstadt. He performs at home and abroad, giving organ recitals and chamber concerts. As a conductor he is invited by festivals and ensambles to conduct performances of vocal and instrumental music of different periods. He is the leader of the HARMONOLOGIA period-instruments ensamble with which he has recently recorded the Venetian poly-choral style church concerts from the Wrocław University Library collection and has given a premier performance of Antonio Vivaldi's opera, Griselda. He is a lecturer at the Wrocław Music Academy.
