Kaja Danczowska 
Kaja Danczowska - Violin - started her violin education at the age of 7 and two years later, at the age of 9, she won the 1st prize at the National Violinist Competition in Wrocław. Since she was 8 and until she received her honorary mention diploma at the Cracow Music Academy, she kept working under the supervision of Eugenia Umińska. While studying at the Moscow Conservatory she completed a two-year course led by the famous Dawid Ojstrach and participated in classes conducted by Ruggiero Ricci. She is a laureate of many international competitions, such as the Henryk Wieniawski Competition in 1967 (3rd prize), the Curci Competition in Naples in 1969 (2nd prize), the Geneva Competition in 1970 (2nd prize), the Munich Competition in 1975 (3rd prize), the Queen Elizabeth Competition in Brussels in 1976 (silver medal).
She gives concerts at home and abroad, all around the world.
Her rich repertoire encompasses all the forms and styles, from Vivaldi to Penderecki. Kaja Danczowska has been on numerous concert tours in Europe, Japan, Australia, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, New Zeland and the United States. She took part in many prestigious music festivals, such as the ones in Salzburg, Bordeaux, Sofia and Stambul, to name just a few. She was a juror at many significant competitions in Tokyo, Munich, New York, Poznan and Odense.
Since 1972 she has been the head of the violin department at the Cracow Music Academy and she has been Academy's professor since 1989. She boasts many records, altogether amounting to over 300 pieces (Polskie Nagrania, Wifon, Deutsche Grammophon, Philips).
